Those organizations give all their energy in order to change lives by helping the underprivileged youth, promoting women in society or working closely with the communities around the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the Travel Show was grounded and could not travel to film on location. Hanuman Films worked with the BBC to film the only ‘live’ content during the first UK lockdown with a report on the impact of Coronavirus on Siem Reap and the Temples of Angkor.

Long abandoned and looted, today the community continues to worship and tend it. Koh Ker is Cambodia’s fourth candidate for the inscription on the UNESCO World Heritage List.

Today, we’re highlighting U.S. government work with the Cambodian Ministry of Health to fight TB. An estimated 10 million people fall ill with tuberculosis (TB) each year. Three million of these cases are not detected, diagnosed, or reported. U.S. support helps Cambodia find and treat these missing cases to help end TB — methods that now help regional medical providers find and track cases of COVID-19.
